May be this is a dumb question, but I am thinking one of you guys can help.

After using Nokia 9300 (with Blackberry Connect) for 1.5 years, I decided to switch to the more "traditional" Blackberry. I went to the Cingular store to buy the Blackberry Curve 8320 that I found at blackberry.com and was disappointed realizing it is only available with T-Mobile.
Is there any chance that Cingular will release it in the near future? I know WiFi is its USP - is it worth it or should I settle for GPS enabled 8310?

Any thoughts?

You can buy it at TMo and unlock it to use it at Cingular. Cingular is releasing the 8310, so it's doubtful they will have the 8320 anytime soon.

AT&T has the 8820 which has GPS and wifi but no camera.

1) Thanks John Clarke. But the form factor of Curve beats the 8800 series anytime..dont you think ?
2) I didn't know I could do that JSanders. Thanks.. Then would it more expensive (not the usual ~$200) because I am not enrolling for TMobile service?

1. I prefer the Curve but thought I'd throw the suggestion out there as the 8820 is a nice device.

2. Yes, purchasing a device from one company and using it on another's network is more expensive. Also, if you have problems with the device it can be difficult to get warranty service. However, it does give you the device you want. Keep in mind that you can't use the 8320 on AT&T and get the UMA (wifi voice) service that TMobile offers.
