Anyone else had these problems and have a fix?
actually when i first upgraded to 4.1 on my 7100 i had a similar problem, i went into app loader and removed the phone app, rebooted the blackberry then went and loaded the phone back into it and the problem went away.

It seems now with this version that when you go into network selection, you are no longer advised what type of networks are available (2G, 2.5G, 3G), just the network name. Why would they remove this or is this a bug?

I finally got my vibe back. I'm not sure what exactly fixed it, since I basically started all over.
I deleted all 3rd party apps, wiped the BB, then reloaded the CSL 4.1.0.300. pulled battery, added back 3rd party apps one at a time, pulling battery between each. Added NotiFire last, and restarted again, restored app data, all is well. I suspect that updating to 4.1 with 3rd party apps or Themes in place was the culprit.
Cingular 7290, CSL 4.1.0.300, NotiFire 2.0.0, Smoothie Theme

Default Upgraded my cingular 7290 and now lost my browser

Upgraded my cingular 7290 to the CSL 4.1 version and now lost my browser. I was prompted saying it wasn't activated and to contact my provider and then after I exited out of the browser, it disappeared. No icon. Is there anything that I was supposed to modify to install and activate the browser? Are the cingular themes required?

Thank you!! Worked great. Logged into my blackberry internet service account and under profile selected push the service books and I am back up and running. I really wanted the themes. Everything else seems to work fine, but I will run some full tests tomorrow.
