Phantom theme for me was slow but after I did an alt+LGLG to clear the logs my BlackBerry was back up to speed.

The Today Plus theme displays the dates on the home screen for the calendar as dd/mm. This is very annoying. Does anyone know of a wayto change that?

Thanks!!

Does anyone have a feel for how the Today Plus Theme is an improvement over the old Dimension Today theme?

Today Plus is essentially the same as Today but with some minor cosmetic updates and one significant change. Instead of just an option at the bottom that says "Applications," the top row of icons from your Applications screen will appear on your home screen when you scroll down to the bottom. The icon's aren't there all the time; they only appear when you scroll down, which creates an uncluttered appearance. Also, on the Applications page, the icons for all the functions that are available on the homepage are made invisible by default. You are only meant to access Messages, Calendar, etc. from the homepage.

Thanks for explaining that- sounds like a fairly significant enhancement.

It is a major improvment. Basically is as if they merged today with zen, best of both themes. The solution works particularily well with the 8100 key layout. I have been a straigh zen user since bharti on the 8700c and the today+ theme is the first viable option that I have come across. It is now my theme of choice. Anyone who is a zen or today user should give it a try.

The .alx file is posted there.

I read through the thread and couldn't find reference to splitting the SMS/Email stuff with Zen. Can you please elaborate? I love the Voda theme for it's ability to do this, and hate it for the icon view and how it separates the apps into subfolders... If I had Zen with separate SMS/Email icons, I'd be a happy man... PM me if necessary...

Thanks,
Stac

Before I changed my OS I only had a seperate folder for sms/mms when I used the Vodafone today theme. After the upgrade when I used the o2 theme I had a seperate folder for sms/mms, same with the T Mobile Zen theme (the pink one not the blue one). I was running the original T Mobile OS prior with a modified .alx file now I am running the Rogers Wireless OS with a modified .alx file.

Default help needed here also!

tagging along from cabene77, i have uk tmobile 8100 and my pearl (i think has the latest software) does not allow me to download themes from the blackberry website from the phone. It says
"Sorry, themes are currently not available for your Blackberry device. Theme downloads require colour Blackberry devices running software version 4.1 or higher".

I don't know why that happens. I had a pearl initially on the O2 network and that worked fine. but the deal was better with tmobile so i change completely. but this handset has this error message!
what to do??

Phantom was real slow, but after clearing logs like the person a few posts back from me, it sped up, and I love the unique feel to it.
