Thanks, I will wait and see what others think before I go ahead and update everything. Making a lighter color isn't that big of a deal or hard to do

The highlight issue is one I've seen make some themes (that look great in screen shots and on most views when loaded) very hard to actually use on a daily basis.

Allowing for differences in screen size (Pearl, Curve, Bold, etc.), eyesight, and ambient conditions means that theme developers need (I believe) to fall more on the side of clarity and ease of reading (when dealing with highlighting) than 100% faithfulness to a theme color scheme...just my two cents.

I will change it to something lighter or something like that so you can see it better..when I test my themes I use my Curve and then send it to a 81xx user so that I can tell if it loads right and all that. If anyone ever see's anything wrong with my themes let me know and I would love to fix it for them or the whole community I have no problem with that. I don't want to give off the impression that I am not building "quality" themes that people won't use

Brian:

Personally I see nothing wrong with this theme. I can see everything perfectly.

Bottom line..not all people will be satisfied with a theme. There will always be 1 or 2 that say the font is too big/too small, can't see the color, the icons are too small, the icons are too big...

Well if you have have problem with the themes cosmetics..don't use it. Its that simple. Its a free theme, you did not pay for it...and if you ask to have it customized, you should pay for it.

And that option, you cannot use a white font there, unless the background is a different color. You can only make the hilite bar a little lighter.

I'd also like to point out that newer Pearl 2 (8110, 8120 and 8130) devices running OS 4.3 will automatically render the highlight bar as the system default blue when non-BB fonts are chosen for the message list font. No amount of changing the color in Plazmic will effect the final appearance of the highlight bar on the device, as it will still be the defaulted cobalt blue (even when exported for OS 4.3). I don't know if this issue has been fixed with OS 4.5 though...

Just to clarify in case it wasn't clear, my comments were meant in general, and weren't a response to your theme, Brian.

Wirelessly posted (All the cool kids are doing it)

Ok, I wasn't quite sure if this one minor thing was making such a huge impact on my theme

Default FREE THEMES!: iSunset TodayPlus, Blank, and Bottom versions

BCollins521.... I must commend u on a good work and great theme. The only problem I am having after Installing theme. The "SMS" icon space is black and "use a darker shade for the text/font". Is there a way to correct it?

Default fonts?

I love the icons, but what is up with the fonts? Too many different fonts.

Menu & message list font, popup & button font, screen title font, plus whatever font I've got set on the device.

It would be great if it was all using one font, or the device font.

Oh forgot about the pop up font...I can't set it for the device font due to the builder...doesn't let me. I might actually rework this theme if I get a chance...there were a few little things that I want to change

Default nice work

Great work..

I'm sure you've been busy and I don't know if you reworked this theme at all.

The only two suggestions would be to have the bottom icons customizable and also maybe lessen the calendar a few bars to allow for messages or call log?

I really like this tho!

Default PrecisionL-87 theme

After loading to my 8700 Bberry Brian's PrecisionL-87 theme this morning (pretty cool) I've discovered that I have access to only the home screen... none of the other applications can be accessed, i.e. Options and such. In addition, the theme can't be unloaded via Desktop Manager.

Any help in remedying this problem will be appreciated. Thanks...

Mark

Hey Mark I forgot about the 87xx needing the application button. It should be able to be removed through DM. Does the theme not show to where you can uncheck the box?

Email me at bcollins521@pimpmyberry.com and I can help ya out that way.
