Default Looking fot T-Mobile Zen theme

Please Login to Remove!

The one with the icons at the bottom of the screen rather than on the side. I'd prefer an OTA link if anyone knows of such a beast. Actually, I've never seen it myself.

I had the vendorless .alx file with all the themes unlocked until I installed a new OS. But I did this in part to save free memory so I really don't want all the themes. Just the TMo Zen with bottom icons.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8130/4.3.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

You can add just that theme back on and unlock it.

Yup, just remove the _vendorID="100" attribute from BlackBerry.alx

These themes being unlocked aren't going to take up any more memory, are they? My gut says no, they're already there, just locked from view. If a modified .alx file is not going to take more memory then I'll do that.

actually the cod's don't get loaded, if you remove the vendor id then it does take up more memory.

I'm in Lake Arrowhead, right behind Casa Bella Restaurant. Denville Dairy is the BOMB! They cram like a pint of ice cream onto your cone! And it's great stuff, too. Are you local there, dietcoke?

When you "unlock" the themes you are really "adding" the themes. They do not all reside on the device normally. Editing the .alx file tells the desktop manager to load them. You can add them all or add whatever ones you want. I usually edit the blackberry.alx file to add them all and then remove the .cod's for the ones I don't want from the java directory. I just move them into another folder labled "removed modules" or something like that. Then if you want one back just move it back to the java directory and then run apploader again.

They do take up quite a bit of memory space. That's why I'm not keeping up the "edited .alx" thread anymore. We have a FAQ that tells how to do it yourself.

My friend just got a T Mobile 8320, and since we live in Canada I have the Rogers 8310, is there a way I can grab this theme off his system so I can install it on my phone?

Actually, it's not on the BB. It's included with the BB OS installation package but you have to edit the Blackberry.alx file on the PC so that Desktop Manager will load it.

Not to change the subject but I have searched for so long I can not seem to find the above link, beside the one you put in. I searched the BB Fqs. and all. It's driving me nuts.

To download the Handheld Software you need either a T Mobile number (USA) or Login Info (Europe)....

I want that theme, though! Preferably the Europe version too.

Is there anyway of getting the US version off my buddies T Mobile phone and simply installing it like a .cod file with the App Loader?

The themes are on all versions of the O.S. you don't have to have a specific one, just one that coninsides with your BB.

Ok so I just did the "How to Add Locked Vendor Themes" to my device and it worked!

I'm an idiot, yes. I thought you had to grab the actual software from T Mobile or whoever you wanted a theme from. Thanks for your help guys!

P.S. T Mobile Europe's Zen theme is unnnnnreeeaaal!

The 8700 doesn't have a "TMobile Zen."
