I recently updated to a Bold 9000 (from an old 8800), and I no longer have the MemoPad app. The new phone has OS v5.0.0.1067.
Can anyone tell me how to get it back? I've done some searching, and found some places that tell me to check the MemoPad app in AppLoader, but I don't know what AppLoader is. I have the Desktop Manager, but I don't see an AppLoader anywhere.
OK, NJBlackBerry, I ran Loader (thanks for the pointer to where it is), and it lists the handful of apps that I have added since I got it, like Viigo, Gmail, Google Maps, BlackBerry App World, and BlackBerry Podcasts.
The list does not include MemoPad at all.
I guess I was expecting a list that included the standard, included apps like Calendar, TaskList, and Contacts. Those aren't there either.
If it doesn't show the 'core' applications in the App Loader window, the OS isn't installed on your PC (it has to be installed, not just downloaded to it).
Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files on your PC.
Do you have any subdirectories under there?

Inside C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared, I have exactly one subdirectory: Applications. It has one sub: MediaSyncMobile. In there are a handful of .cod files and one .alx file.
Thanks - I've been trying to download that all day but the RIM site never lets it get finished. It tells me "Our website is currently undergoing a scheduled maintenance to upgrade our systems in order to better serve you.". I must have tried the download 50 or 60 times today, once I even got 121 of 126 MB before it aborted.
