I have set up the Blackberry JDE (version 4.1.0.170) on a development box, and installed PointBase Micro (Java Installer). I followed the instructions at the link below:-
http://www.pointbase.com/products/de...tBase_Demo.pdf
Once I had created my project in JDE, I got the following error when building the project:-
Deleting C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry JDE 4.1.0\pointbase\pointbase_libraries.cod.
Deleting C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry JDE 4.1.0\pointbase\contactmanager.cod.

Error while building project
I then read that you needed to Preverify the .JAR files - I assume that this refers to the Pointbase .Jar files (in the pointbase\lib\ folder), so I tried to use the following batch file to do this:-
"C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry JDE 4.1.0\bin\preverify.exe" -classpath "C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry JDE 4.1.0\lib\net_rim_api.jar" "C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry JDE 4.1.0\pointbase\lib\pbmicroMIDP_RMSLite53ev.jar"
"C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry JDE 4.1.0\bin\preverify.exe" -classpath "C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry JDE 4.1.0\lib\net_rim_api.jar" "C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry JDE 4.1.0\pointbase\lib\pbunisyncMIDPClient53ev.jar"
pause
However, every time I run the batch file (from the JDE BIN folder), the following error is displayed:-
JAR file creation failed with error -1
And in the jarlog.txt file:-
Error: No such file or directory
jar -cfm "output\pbmicroMIDP_RMSLite53ev.jar" tmp12553\\META-INF\MANIFEST.MF -C tmp12553 .
I am not sure what else I need to do to get the blackberry pointbase demo to work - any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Burgerking.
