Tired of "Resending"
Please Login to Remove!
Since the updating the 4.1 on BB 7290, I have been unable to forward my emails to my other account without having to resend them. I am tired of resending a lot of my emails. I'd like to know the solution to this problem. Keep in mind I didnt have any problem forwarding other people's emails to my other email account. I just have problem with my own BB emails. I dont want to resend them.

First thing I would try to do is resend the service books. When you forward the message do you get an X next to the message indicating failure? If so, open the failed message and let us know what the message status is.

ok Resend which one of these service books? Yes there was an "X" everytime I forward only my BB outgoing emails. I can forward the incoming emails.
There was no message status... or info on why it failed.

When you get the 'X', open the message and scroll up. There should be a field for 'Message Status'.....what does that say?

Sorry, I didn't clarify better. Open the message with the X next to it. Scroll up in the message. There should be a line that reads Message Status: xxxxxxxxx. This should give us an indication of the problem.

What email accounts are you sending from/to? Yahoo, POP, IMAP? Are any of the accounts connected to a BES server?

ok I send my BB emails to Sidekick II but I forwarded my email conversation to my Juno account. It won't work without having to resend those forwarded emails. Now the funny thing is that the emails I got from SK II, have no problems for me to forward to my Juno account.
I remember before upgrading my BB from 4.0 to 4.1, it was the opposite. I could forward my own emails but cannot forward the emails I got from SK II without having to resend them.

I don't know anything about that. I didnt do anything concerning POP, IMAP etc. BES- no accounts connected to a BES server.

I hope there's a solution.... I will continue to resend my failed forward emails. Hopefully there is someone out there somewhere who somewhat knows something somehow.

I had the same issue with my BB about a month ago on T-Mo. I called them up, they walked me through some stuff, and worked it out. It involved deleting/emptying some caches, deleting all my books and resending them, and a couple of other things.
Good luck,
Michael

The "Unable to find origanal message" error is caused my BIS not being able to find the original message on the sever. When forwarding or replying to a message BIS goes back to your mail server to get the message. If it has been removed from the integrated account, that error will occur.
