When I try to set up Messenger. I get the message, " Please enter your name as you would like others to see it." I then click OK and get the message "Your name can not be empty." When I click OK again it takes me back to the original prompt to add my name, I am unable to open the menu to add my name. It seems I am stuck, Does anyone have any ideas that may be of help? Thanks.

Just start typing your name. Then you can press Enter. There isn't a separate dialog box for entering it. The dialog box that is showing is the place where you enter your name.

Like stated above you should just be able to start typing.

I have the same problem and I am not able to just type my name.. I've tried just typing like normal and nothing happens...

Try a battery-pull and do it over again.
