Default seeing photos on 8830

hey i have my 8830 and i love it!!! its great but i was at a fire scene cause im a firefighterand my buddy tried to send me a pic of the fire from inside to my phone when he did i got the notice i had a pic message but i had to wait till i got home to check it from the website. is their a way to check my pix messaging on my phone?

Yes, just click the link that should have been included in the email, and it should go to download the photo.

Its because Verizon took Pix messaging off your account because you don't have a camera. They did this to mine too and I didn't think about it, but it is the dumbest thing ever. Just because I don't have a camera doesn't mean I dont want to send/receive pictures.

I have to call Verizon and try to add it back. I think it is the same price.

Wait...so your buddy was *inside* the burning house a took a picture? Now, that's crazy! Didn't know the fire department let guys carry their cells into the burning flames!

It's really simple. Just tell the friends you receive pix messages from to email them to you instead. That's all I did...it's a lot easier that way.
