Default m.youtube: BB 8820 OS v4.5.0.182; video links disabled?

Please Login to Remove!

BB Gurus;

I am one of those idiots who keep tinkering with what works
and a crazy-sort-of for newer BB OS versions/features.

I used to watch youtube videos (m.youtube.com) happily,
until yesterday 'upgraded to v4.5.0.182.

Now the links "Play/Watch Video" in youtube pages dont
allow me to click to watch videos and when 'try to get the
link address, it seems there is no link address available.

I can only watch videos that have been bookmarked earlier
with rtsp:// as the link address.

To summarize: Seems strangely, the links for "Watch Video" in youtube seems disappearing in the new version of bb browser.

BTW, my browser setting: BB emulation, allow java script, embedded player enabling.

Any bb expert out there to help me..

TIA.
J

Check your browser settings, what is checked off. Also try clearing the cache.

Thanks Zerog46; I did check all the browser settings,
so as to allow every thing and cleared cache.

The "Watch Video" in youtube page gets highlighted when
'move the cursor over it, but when 'hit the track ball or
enter nothing happens (as if 'am hitting on a plain text field) in the browser. When 'try to see what is the link address,
the "link address" item is not even an option and 'can see only the "page address".

In other words, the rtsp://v4.cache.youtube.com gets screwed up in the browser

Can 'see view source of the html page in BB?

Default Yep: BB 8820 browser messes up with RTSP:// links

Strange, but true; If 'explicitly type (paste) in the
rtsp:// links in the browser url input, it works; But any implicit links with rtsp:// are suppressed by the browser in any given html page (such as youtube).

Any help out there?

its BB 8820 OS v4.5.0.182
