Default Have any of you guys heard this?

I had a crazy call yesterday. Some guy who's not a customer called in to cancellations and that's how I got him. He demanded to know my position, I explained it to him, and then he asked:
"What is the best BlackBerry you have?"

I said the Bold 9700 was one of the best we had right now, it was also the newest.

He asked me if it had wifi, I said yes.

And then he pretty much called me a liar and said that he lives in the U.S. and that T-Mobile had told him the Bold 9700 having wifi is exclusive to them, and them alone. I said maybe in the US it is, but not in Canada, and he said I was wrong and that they had world exclusivity because of a private contract with RIM and blah blah blah.

Then he hung up.

What the heck is he talking about?

That guy's a moron. Ignore him and don't let what he claims get to you.

Also, this is from AT&T (another US GSM carrier)

BlackBerry® Bold™ 9700 | AT&T wireless services

They have WiFi listed there as well.

That's what I said! I was like, look at our website, it clearly states it has WiFi. I even checked At&t's website after to see if he was confused about American carriers.

I think he was crazy, because I have no idea why he demanded the cancellation department to give him this information.

Sounds almost like a grammer school prankster on a snow day. Probably had a roomful of his buddies giggling away, all huddled around a Nintendo console in his parents' basement.

Haha, what a nice image. "Lets call up so and so and make them think their product does not have a feature that they say it does"
