My experience:
It's AWESOME. I have only used it for a few hours though, but so far, it's been a solid experience!

I'm wondering though, will InstaSpell learn? Like in T9? Will there also be prediction?

Downloaded and installed with no problems. My first impression is that this is an awesome utility that has been very well integrated with the BB's own e-mail client. Will give you a more full report after I have had a chance to use it more.

Works great Ani. I find myself wanting it to automatically pop up suggestions (vs. pressing the scroll key and selecting one) when it sees a misspelled word. Could this be added? Have an option that lets you select whether you want it to automatically or not?

Could someone with an 8300 compare the spell check that is built in to the new InstaSpell program?

This program is working great here also. I second the suggestion to make the underline a little bolder. It looks fine on emails but when using bb messenger I don't notice the underline until I hit enter to send since it is so close to the bottom of the screen. I also noticed that it excludes words that include numbers. It would be nice there were an option to cut this off so that it did tag them as misspelled.

So far so good. This is great!

It works on email, SMS, BB Messenger, PIN messages, and Calendar. It doesn not work with JiveTalk.

I have deleted LexSpell from my device, but I think that InstaSpell actually takes more space. It is well worth it.

I am looking for reasons to send messages now to test it. It is the weekend though.

Suggestions:

*Create a menu of what to check or exclude.
*I do not know if it is possible, but underline in a different color (or highlight misspelled words) to make them more visible.
*Ability to delete words from the custom wordlist. I added a word in error and can't get it out.
*Ability to add words on the fly.

Otherwise, this is fantastic.

Upon using it for 2 days, the program have crashed my blackberry three times, but that's expected. It was a java error. unexpected java.lang or something like that. Seems like a buffer exception error.

Suggestions:
*MAKE IT WORK WITH JIVETALK! :P
*Ability to learn names from the address book. It's funny because my name isn't recognized at all.. Evan (van is underlined).
*as phone_caller mentioned, please include include and exclude
*different indicator, already mentioned.

Other than that, the program works great!

Will do.

It would be nice if it would still give you recommendations in the space after a word. For example, when I type a word often I don't stop in the middle of it for a suggestion but wait until the space after the final letter.

Consequently, I now have to use the scroll key to back up on the word before I can get a suggestion, it would be nice to get the suggested word in and be able to replace the misspelled word in, the space after misspelled word.

I hope this makes sense.

Yes. I've been testing it with the 8300. It seems to work without any problems so far.

After much testing I found that the easiest way to backup to the word is to use ALT+Scroll and move the cursor back into the work and then press the scroll wheel for a list of sugestions. It should be noted that there is some odd behavior doing this. Sometimes scrolling backwards simply places the cursor into the misspelled word and sometimes it actually highlights the entire word. However, it doesn't really matter. Once the cursor is under any letter of the word or selected the entire word, you can do corrections. Once you correct simply scroll to the right and start typing. The old space is not deleted by the correction which I find useful.
