Awesome - What is the plan for an upgrade cost to V5 upon its release? If I buy the standard V4 license now what will the upgrade cost be?

Any chance of seeing what v5 may look like? Changes? Features? I'm getting excited.

Default Been there from the start

I have been a Pocket Day user from the start. Beta tester from the very beginning and I am still using it. It is a great app. I am there to beta test 5.0 too. Looking forward to the new UI.

As a very long time user I would like to suggest that the Yahoo app switcher is really too resource intensive. As the BB has more data and less memory it slows to a crawl. Your current interface is quick and bulletproof. Be careful. What has kept me a happy user is the ease of use and the rapidity of the BB to inputs. Making this less intuitive or slower will really make this a much less attractive proposition.

I have a request for some way to mark Hi-Priority emails on the email summary screen. I use these for email that comes from certain groups that have to be answered. The other need is for a larger time display. I know I can increase the font but don't need the other items so big. Like everyone else, I would like to beta test and do have an 8800.

Folks, it's coming along slowly. On the BB, we have to everything by hand because they don't support many things currently that other mobile devices do. We have had to scale back some of the 3D stuff we wanted to do as they are just too sloooow on the BB.

We'll have a beta ready in a few weeks.

Well given the serious responses from this post, I think it is pretty obvious that the BB needs a FULL featured PIM app such as this.

I do like Pocket Day, and coming from Palm OS and Agendus - Agendus for Palm OS Professional Edition - The ultimate personal information manager for Palm, links and enhances Meetings, Tasks, Memos, Contacts, Email, and powerful wireless services please see this product, I feel that you need to really improve the PIM aspect of it in terms of Calendar/task management.

Why improve on an already great email device? If we want to have email support we just goto mail application, I don't think you need to improve that section at all. It's the basic contact, calendar management that needs serious attention.

You can really learn from the Palm OS in that they put the PIM aspect up front to manage day to day items, people, etc.

The BB already has a great email application so no need for further fuss with it.

Please bring new, fresh ideas to the Calendar and Task sections like -

1. Icons set - basic (for meetings)
2. Easier editing of items within PD
3. Drag and drop items, highlight/hold trackball - rescheduling
4. Pop up calendar for editing/moving items
5. Year view?
6. Linking items - as mentioned - (tasks, contacts)
7. Filters! - by category
8. List of events - i.e. Birthdays
9. Create item with Contact from address book, i.e. appointment, task to do
10. Edit items within Pday! (appts, tasks) without going to native BB app.

Thanks!

As always, thanks for bringing a great needed product to the BB
