I suggested that option to the programer, but none replay.

I bought this program time ago when 7250 now with my perl I didn't test yet, but I will give a try soon.

When on my 7250 I had a problem, if I activate the alarm, when a call is blocked the phone turn off and stay off, if I disable the alarm everything work fine.

I send this report to the programmer but only air was in my inbox

so if you see the last answer from elfire was on October I thing this is become abandonwere

I tried this software on my pearl but it would block all calls. I really like this idea and I need to block calls from someone. I know I can just hit "ignore" but I'd rather not have to mess with it. I already have YouMail and have the "ditchmail" option set up so he can't leave me a voicemail...does anyone have any ideas or know a way to get this to work with the 8100?

Thanks

Can someone please explain how to modify the BES settings?

I purchased and installed Berryblocker (version 0.08) on my 8700g, but it doesn't block any calls.

The information on the website where I purchased Berryblocker states that an installation help file is included in the download, but I don't see a help file, and I don't see any BES information in Help under the BerryBlocker icon installed on my Blackberry. Also, when I try to change "Keystroke Injection" to Allow, Deny is the only option.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

I emailed the developer and was given the instructions when I was on BES. Yet, I wasn't able to set the call injection to allow. The administrators didn't allow us to use the 3rd party apps on our work BB's. I'm using berry blocker on 8700/4.1.0.346 with T-Mobile and it works fine blocking calls. This is my personal BB that doesn't have bes on it. You might be able to find the bes settings posted on the forums. I'll check my emails and see if I still have the instructions for bes.

Really, except for being able to block all calls from an area code, it's not any different than setting up exceptions in your profiles as far as I can tell. Still, if it worked and there was support for it I would definitely buy it.

IMHO, it worked better than using the exceptions in the profiles. I don't think the developer has made any enhancements on this application since September 2007. I know that he made some changes, so that one could use the program with the Pearl. Yet, it would just send all of my calls to voice mail. Any BB, that's pre 4.2 os seems to work well with this application. I know that it definitely worked well with my 8700g.

I'd definitely like to see a program such as this implemented that'll work with BB's using the 4.2 os.

I'd like to give this a try on my 7250 attached to my company BES. Can someone provide the instructions on how to get it to work with BES?

My blackberry turns off whenever it's holstered and an Unknown call comes in with the profile activated.

This (along with beeping reminders for SMS or other notifications) that the old clunky Nextel Motos can do. You can create a profile that only allows inbound calls from phone book entries. If someone's not on that list, they go to vmail instantly.
how do you create a profile to only allow incoming calls from phone book entries?!

regards,
At first I thought you might have wanted it because it was freeware, but seeing as it's $9.95, I'd suggest Black & Whitelist to try out also (about the same price).

It's being actively worked on and improved, last release Aug 17, 2007 and next release projected Sep 3, 2007.

You can read about it here: http://www.blackberryforums.com/afte...ryblocker.html

The most recent version is on Handango now if you can't wait 'till Monday's new release.

You CAN do it with Black & Whitelist IIRC. BerryBlocker isn't being supported as far as I've seen, so it wouldn't be wise to invest in.
