Thanks. That started as a place for me to download stuff I was trying out, and I figured that I'd just open it up. As I get into making original wallpapers and ringtones, I'll put them there for others to use if they wish.

My plan, when time permits, is to actually put some time into the page. I made it quickly (obviously), but wanted it to be compatible with the BlackBerry browser. Of course, I need to find the screen sizes of the different browsers that could use wallpaper and ring tones so that it will work with all screen sizes. It's currently set to work best on 320 wide screens like the 8700.

I also want to make my own wallpapers from scratch, but again, I need to find a little more time. Since I write music, maybe I could make some original ring tones as well. Hm...

And I just added two new wallpapers:

- Blue Stripes
- Brushed Metal w/ Cingular Logo

Is it possible to do the Notify as a polyphonic midi for us with 7250s if it is not too much trouble, please.

Browse to http://if.5100bac.net/wp-bb on your BlackBerry. Once there, use the scroll wheel on the right of the device to move the cursor (the dashed box) onto the link or picture you want. Click the scroll wheel.

In the case of an MP3, choose GET LINK from the menu that pops up. The file will download to your device (watch the bottom of the screen for progress) and then the media player will start. The file will start playing as well. From there, use the scroll wheel to move from the PLAY button to the MENU button (third button from left to right). Click the scroll wheel and choose SAVE from the menu that pops up. Accept the default location when the dialog window appears and the MP3 is saved on your device and ready to use as a ring tone or alarm tone. You can access the MP3 from your profile setup screen.

In the case of a picture, choose SAVE IMAGE from the menu that pops up. Accept the default location when the dialog window appears and the picture is saved on your device and ready to use as a wallpaper. You can access the picture from the Pictures application on the home screen. When you start the Pictures application, scroll to the picture you want to use as wallpaper, click the scroll wheel, and choose SET AS HOME SCREEN IMAGE.

All done!

Thanks. I made that from some stock sound clips using SoundForge a while back for an older cell phone. Works great as an event reminder. Just obnoxious enough. I had an alarm clock tone I made that was terribly obnoxious... great to wake up to because it had an escalating volume. I can't find it, though...

I just updated the Site a little more. I added the names of the original artists to the ring tones, and I added:

- Harvey The Wonder Hampster
- By_Myslf
- My obnoxious alarm tone
