Jeffmik: try going to the built-in calendar app and changing its General...Actions setting for "default Reminder". I bet you have a 0 there, which apparently overrides the option for OntoCalendar.

There is no icon, you'll only see a new menu item in the messages app, the address book app, and the phone log app.

Does the application show up in Options...Advanced...Applications ? It should say "OntoCalendar 3.7.18"

I'm running beta OS 5 (.93) on the 8900 with OntoCalendar 3.7.18 and it's working well!

I just happened upon this thread. This is a fantastic utility app to have. I also tried a lengthy email added to my calendar then did a Google Sync pushing it up to my online GCal. Worked like a charm.

Thanks a lot rknobbe!!

After using this for a month I have to say it works really well!

The only thing i'd like to see is an option to provide a link to the original email instead of the actual email body message itself. If you have attachments that you need to complete a follow-up/task, you really need to get back to the originating email easily.

I agree, attachments would be useful. I don't know how to go about putting in a "link" to the original mail though. I'll investigate attachments.
