^That....of is that something that was already implemented and I missed it. Also does this clear the read message in the regular BB inbox once read in your program?

works great! is it possible to rename the app? i want it to say like "ThreadedSMS". All it needs is notifications and a ui upgrade. I would definitely pay for this program.

New beta 0.75 available
All,
New beta just posted, custom notifications are now possible.
For those of you who are not sure what this means, you can now edit your sound profile, and there will be an entry for BBText2IM where you can set up led flashing, vibration, tune, and the behavior in and out of the holster.

Is there any way for it to make the regular BB application think the message is read once you open it in your program?
And on a side note, doesn't seem to refresh right in 4.5. I have to open up the conversation and hit the menu button and it sometimes refreshes the conversation and shows the new message. Could be a 4.5 issue

All,
Had to revert back to 0.7, there are some issues with the custom notifications. I'll fix it tonight.

In the next beta, there will be configurable default colors, as well as configurable colors per conversation. For instance, if you don't give a preference, then your default colors will be used on a conversation screen. However, if you want the conversation with Julie to have her rows be pink, you'll be able to do that.
I hope to have this update in before Friday morning, when I go on a brief vacation.

Have you figured out if there was a way to clear the notifications yet? Or is that still there?

The most I'll be able to do is copy the text you created in the native app to BBText2IM so you'll at least have the record of it in there as well.

Well...I've discovered we'll be able to come VERY close. I haven't released it yet, but I have added custom notifications for BBText2IM...So, you can go in your sound profile, and BBText2IM is in the edit list, just like other apps.
What you'll do is this; you'll edit the native SMS app's sound profile and turn off ALL notifications. Then, you'll edit BBText2IMs profile to add what you like.
So, my observations are, you will no longer get LED/vibrate/sound from the SMS app...AND you will NOT get the unread icon in the title bar when you are on the application, and device home page. The only time you'll get an indication in the SMS inbox is the SMS inbox icon, and when you open the SMS application itself, the unread icon appears in the title bar. After you leave the SMS application, the icon disappears.

The one version you had that had the custom notifications on it under profiles, even when I had everything turned off under "sms text" it still showed the message indicator saying there was a new message which was good but when I opened the conversation under your app and read it, the icon still showed. The only way to clear that icon was to go into the bb inbox and open the message. Even though I had already read that message in your app

That version is WAY broke, so please revert to 0.7 using the original link.
