This could call someone to miss an appointment! Please advise.

I just downloaded 5.12 and the same problem occurs.
Check General Settings. Is Max Appointments set to something other than Show All (i.e., the list may be truncated)?

By default, the n key is used to Go Forward One Day/Week/Month, the b key is used to Go Back One Day/Week/Month, and the g key is used to Goto Today. You can change the Key Mappings, if desired, within settings.

Appointments is set to Show All. There are only two appointments for Wednesday In the "Week View" for that day it only shows one. However, if I select the date and hit "Go To," it shows both appointments. The problem appears to be in the "Week View" mode.

There are other days that show more than one appointment. I'm not sure what the issue is -- these are both regular recurring meetings.

Angry PocketDay delays

OK, I love PocketDay but the delays in responsiveness are a major downer. For example, when I push the convenience key on my 8800 (which is set for PocketDay), it can 30-45 seconds to respond. Sometimes when I click the trackwheel to turn the screen on, I can't scroll anything for 30-45 seconds. Similar behavior occurs sometimes when I go to unread messages or appointments. (If you remember one of my previous posts, I couldn't use the ribbon because it was taking too long to respond.)

Any idea what could be causing it? I've uninstalled the application and see no delays in anything else, but when I reinstall, they are back.

Is anyone else having this problem?

I'm using PocketDay 5.12 and OS 4.2.1.79 (platform 2.3.0.74). Thanx.

The only delay I have is when opening tasks or meetings with attached contacts. PD Pro 5.12 w/ OS 4.2.1.101

brilovett,

What BB model do you have? Also, we need to check how your pocketday communications are setup. Please send email to [email address] and we can easily work through this.

I used to have that issue all the time. The pd guys told me to set "auto email sync" to zero minutes (I had it on 15 minutes). This completely corrected all the lags and crashed I had experienced.

Thanx. Actually, mine is already set to 0, so still looking for other suggestions.

Question PD 5.12 will not launch

On a at&t 8310 bb curve.
I installed PD 5.12. it ran fine for a few hrs and then just stopped.
I am unable to launch it again. Nothing happens when I click on the PD icon.
Rebooted the device still no response I attempt to launch PD 5.12.

Ended up deleting the PD 5.12 and installing PD 4.25. It is runnigng without issues.

PD 5.12 seems a lot nicer when it worked!!
What am I doing wrong. THX

Probably application permissions:

BB home screen/settings/options/security options/application permissions.

Set pocketday to Allow for everything. Do this after you re-install 5.12

It will still not start.
I've set 'Allowed' for:
connections
interactions
user data

Should I have uninstalled PD 4.25 first?

OK, so I deleted PD 5 and re-installed PD 4.25. Funny thing is, it says it is already registered?. And now it gives me an 'uncaught exception: java.lang.illegalArgumentException' error when I try to open general settings. But otherwise runs without any other issues. So it appears to have not deleted everything when I unistalled PD 5.

How can I clean this up and re-install cleanly?
Thank mucho.
