I got one from the store on the Sat they started launching them, and it had a Wi-Fi badge. I also ordered one from corporate sales and it showed up on my doorstep monday without a wi-fi badge.

I kept the one without the badge because of the better deal.

I believe he's talking about the one on the top of the phone. It's on the top edge, opposite from the mute button. And yes, mine has the badge/logo thingy.

I think the earlier production runs had the wifi emblem silk screened on before. I don't really care one way or another, but the wifi "feels" like it performs better and RF seems slightly better.

Could just be me seeing what I want to.
