Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan? You'll need that.

Open Google Maps, and press the 0 Zero key to update your location.

Make sure you have your TCP settings...

There's no GPS on a 8320 you will need a GPS puck and pair it with Bluetooth.

True MrKyoo, but he can still use those two map applications, and on Google Maps it will show his location if the latest version 2.0 whatever, through the tower location.

Default Google Maps and GPS

I just loaded google maps on my new 8310 and it offered to access my gps info. I agreed and it works great. My question is: Will AT&T charge me extra for this even though I did not subscribe to their Telenav product?

You need to call T-Mobile and have them add the BlackBerry Data Plan to your account.
Also have them remove the T-Zones plan. You don't need both.

No, you won't be charged anything extra.
In the future, please don't hijack other people's threads. It's quite rude.

No. Telenav is a GPS app. If you pay for it you're paying for the app. The GPS receiver can be used by any application designed to take advantage of it. You don't need Telenav for the GPS receiver to work.

Default Hijacking

HI I am new to this and noticed the term hijacking. I don't want to commit this offense so can someone explain what that is?

Too late... you've just done it.
Thread hijacking - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

FTA:
"Thread hijacking in internet forum communication is the act of steering a discussion off-topic by discussing a subject entirely unrelated to the subject at hand.
While this can be an intentional act of trolling, it is often accidental - caused by participants in the discussion responding to a throwaway remark, thus taking the thread off at a tangent to the original subject matter. The results often provoke a feeling of resentment from the author of the original post."

The 8320 does not have GPS built in.
You'd need to purchase a Bluetooth GPS receiver to have GPS functionality.
MrKyoo mentioned this earlier in the thread.
