Default Two blackberry servers in production?

Please Login to Remove!

Currently I have Exchange 2003 that is set up with BES vs 4.0.6.7 and syncs fine. I have a brand new server that has Exchange Server 2007 installed and a new server for Blackberry version 4.1.4 that will sync with Exchange 2007, blackberry 4.1.4 has not been set up on the server yet.
Would I be able to have both Blackberry servers in production? I will eventually move all all the users from the BES 4.0 server to the 4.1 BES server when I move their Exchange 2003 mailboxes to Exchange 2007. Is there any documentation that I should follow or anything I need to know to be able to run two Blackberry servers?

Are both of these servers in the same Exchange organization?

You can indeed have both BES's in production as long as they have their own unique SRP ID / Key. Why not upgrade the 4.0.6 server to 4.1.4 and then perform a knife-edge / hardware migration to the new hardware? Then you've got just one server up that you need to deal with at a time. You wouldn't need a second SRP ID / Key for this, and your users wouldn't have to be "migrated"; except from the mail server perspective.

Give this a review: How to Migrate BES from Exchange 2000 or 2003 to Exchange 2007
