I am the owner of an 8700C, I loaded the plazmic theme reader application as well as a theme I am attempting to use. The problem is that the theme I downloaded does not show up under my themes list. I looked under applications and I can see that both have successfully been installed on my pc. Thank you in advance.

make sure you loaded both the theme alx and the plazmic alx.

I apologize for being such a noob, let me retrack my steps. WHat i did is installed Plazmic Reader via an OTA download from mobile.rogersmj.com, I then installed the theme file via OTA as well from the same site. If I am missing some steps please enlighten me and I will go back and correct my errors. Thanks

I have turned the phones off and on but I hardly think that would be considered a reboot. Being a total crackberry noob I am not aware what the reboot procedure is. Can you please enlighten me? Thanks

Two ways you can reboot are, turning phone off, and then opening the back, removing the battery and wait for about 20 seconds and putting it back. This is a hard reboot and ussually turns the wireless off, which would mean you have to after the phone awakens again go to the radio the tower icon, and turning it on. You can do a soft reboot (I would recommend this first since this will not turn the radio off) by pressing control (), alt (), delete () much like you do in a computer, all at the same time until you see the screen go black. Wait for it to awaken and you should be ready to go.
