Default PTT -> Loud alarm sound-> Must remove battery

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Nextel 7520.
Anyone also had this happen???:
While using DC, if you think the other party is finished talking, and you accidentally press the PTT, all "unowhat" breaks loose. A loud solid beep alarm goes off that will not stop. Cannot turn off the BB either. Had to remove the battery to get the alarm sound to stop.
I have only had this happen once, but was wondering if anyone else has ever experienced this.

This happened to me last week while travelling in Texas. At first I just kept mashing buttons hoping that would stop it from exploding, then I just gave up and took out the battery.

I will try the escape / PTT button, if I can remember over that LOUD racket.....

I have owned an i90 and a i730 in addition to my 7520 and have only had this happen on the 7520. However, it is easily resolved for me by simply pressing and releasing the PTT button again.
