Exclamation prob with facebook

hey guys , i downloaded fb a long time ago like when i frst got bold 9700 it always used to say could not connect bcuz a data service is not available plz try again later.. and i dnt knw contact ur service provider smthn like tht ive contacted them and like everythings workin except fb i tried again today and it still says the same thing even when people told me to close it and take the battery out for atleast 5 mins it still didnt work could you please help me with this

Contact with carrier , i don't think so there are any issue with FB its preinstalled on OS

Your question is extremely difficult to read using your short text such as "bcuz" and "dnt knw".

You need a BlackBerry data plan. A regular data plan will not work.

Not true. They have service book icons. Those icons allow you to download the application. But the application itself is not installed on the device.

I just update a BB 9000 and have preinstalled FB / Yahoo / MSN
just Accept policy and you good to go

An OS update is different. If the application is already installed on the device prior to the OS upgrade, the application will still be installed. I think you're confusing the two.

Opening a brand new device that's never been used before will not have those applications installed by default. Yes, it will have the icons, but they will only be links to download the actual application.
