Hello, I have a blackberry curve 8300. On my blackberry i have the facebook application. I am under the impression that the only way for the application to work is through email. My problem is that my yahoo address that I use gets EXTREMELY crowded with all of my facebook notifications and messages that i have already seen. Is there any alternative way to receive facebook things on my phone without raping my inbox?

Nope.

1. Open Facebook on your phone
2. Tick the box to integrate with BlackBerry Message Application
3. Uncheck "Leave notification messages on server"

... or create a message rule on yahoo mail to deliver these messages to a "Facebook" message folder. I do this for gmail and it works fine.

unfortunately that feature on yahoo mail works like crap. actually it just doesn't work.

Thanks!! I didn't know there was a "Leave notifications on mail server" option. i hope it works, im sure it will.
