Hi

I have been using a personal blackberry (BIS) and a work Blackberry (BES) for several years now.

Moving my personal blackberry to BES would be great as it would save me syncing and it would also allow me to access my data in Outlook from different PC's (have to use a local .pst file today for my personal stuff).

However, I have a couple of questions:
- I use googlemail and would really like to stay with it - will this work with ExchangeMyMail?
- I work in a big corporate company and all kinds of things are blocked on the internet including googlemail. Is this likely to cause me issues in accessing the ExchangeMyMail exchange server?
- If I move to ExchangeMyMail, then presumably I no longer need to pay my provider for "blackberry service" - because that's just the BIS server? So, would I just need a plan with unlimited internet access?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Regards,
Donal

You will still need a BB data plan. If you go to ExchangeMyMail, and BES, I assume that you will need the more expensive BES plan.

Company mail may be an issue for you. Do they allow POP access? You will probably need to talk to your IT Staff.

So - you mean that I will be paying ExchangeMyMail for the BES plan? If so, that bit I understand. My question is if I still need to pay my network (O2) for a blackberry service?

Pop is definitely blocked. Not sure if ExchangeMyMail have an IE client?

Can anyone from ExchangeMyMail help me with my questions? If I can make this work for me, you'll have a loyal customer for a long number of years.

You will be paying your carrier for the BES plan and ExchangeMyMail for their service.
