one problem with the upgrade, and I've seen hundreds of reviews say the same thing: it freezes up the BB.

The reviews are true. I'm myself using a Bold 9780 and it freezes after a few hours. The only way to correct that is do a battery pull or delete and re-install the FB v2.0 software. I have been in touch with Blackberry Customer Support and they have confirmed this error. Also, in Blackberry App World when you click on the reviews for this software, 90 % of them mention the freezing problem.

I have tried installing both from App World and also from Facebook Mobile - same result.

There is finally a solution to this. The version 2.0.0.45 is now available which solves the issue. If not showing on your appworld, log on to m.facebook.com and click on the link Facebook for Blackberry to download latest version.

doesn't work~ upgraded to the current version 2.0.0.45 and now it will not let me log in, in spite of CORRECT email/password. They hotfixed the freezing issue, only to screw up the login. I've never seen so many bad reviews on the login issues with this version.


edit: error code is 2401: FB passwords are case sensitive (hmmm...I know I put it in correctly)

Removed the BB app from my privacy settings in FB, did a battery pull...NADA

so... any workaround?
