Default new desktop software

Please Login to Remove!

hello, i updated to desktop software 6.0 and now when i click on media, it says "you need to turn on mass storage mode from the connected Blackberry device to use this feature. This may require you to reconnect your device."

the problem is that mass storage is on, and it still says this.. the media card already has media in it from the previous software i had so its formatted right.. i turned my phone off, unplugged it from computer, took battery out, restarted my computer and it still says this when its connected.. Whats going on?

i turned mass storage on by going through options/memory and turned mass storage mode support on, and then i switched auto enable mass storagge mode when connected from prompt to yes..

I don't know. Did a little searching and didn't hit anything right off. You might do some searching yourself, if you haven't, and spend some time at it tweaking your key words. I got a strong feeling you won't be the first to see this.

But before you do that, do a hard reset. With the power on, remove the battery. Go ahead and remove the microSD card, too. If you have a lint free cloth or a microfiber cloth, wipe the contacts good and hard between your fingers with the cloth. Then replace the card, and make sure you've inserted it all the way and it is seated. Then replace the battery. After the device boots, try again.

Do you perhaps have another card? Have you tried it?

I think it supports Outlook 2010. At least is saw posts that it did during beta, so I assume it does.

No more media manager and its bugs.

But it takes forever to launch and run on my computers, even longer than version 5.

I had this problem too, along with a myriad of other issues.

So I'm going back to DM5.
