No matter what I try, I don't have the internet browser icon on my device.

When I go into options > advanced > browser, it only shows t-zones and wi-fi browser. I've been having problems using progreams that acces the internet as well (except for Opera which uses the APN - which I've already setup.)

I'm using an 8320 with Tmobile's BIS, running 4.2.2.180. I did a battery pull, re-registered the routing table, and re-sent the service books all without any luck!

Also, when I go into MDS status under advanced options, it shows not activated. How do I activate it?

You might need to contact T-Mobile to inquire about this, with their PDA support.

I would try updating your Host Routing Tables to start with.

Menu>options>Advanced Options>Host Routing Table (Select) Register Now.

If that fails there are a couple other things to try

Thanks, I've already tried re-registering the host routing table. When I do this, I get an email from blackberry saying congrats for registering but the actual routing table (the one bolded in the list) does not change, nor do the browser options.

Just did a clean swipe, and still not getting the browser.

Does anyone know what service book it's supposed to be? I currently have T-Mobile USA WAP and Wi-Fi TCP/IP Browser service books, but nothing for internet browser

I agree with Jeremy. You need to contact TMobile. It sounds like your data plan is not activated properly. The MDS status is for BES users only.

You guys are right, I called T-mobile and there was a provision on my account (only allowing emails but no data)

They removed the provisions, told me to do a battery pull, and afterwards everything was working great.
