Default SIAP: Anyone hear of an ATT Data outage in Ohio and other states?

I have had no data service (email or Internet) on my Bold for almost two days now. I visited the local store and they had no idea what was going on. We troubleshot the phone, etc. and came up with nothing.

Finally, I hit up ATT tech support on chat and was told they have had data outages since Saturday and full outage since sometime yesterday.

Anyone else hear this? It's odd that I haven't seen this on here yet.

Pull the battery and rebooted?

Resent service books?

SIAP = Sorry if already posted. I couldn't find it through search.

I have pulled the battery and rebooted a number of times. Nothing doing there.

I got on chat with ATT and they indicated they have had newtork outages since Saturday, but those recovered. They have been out since yesterday sometime completely. This is the exact verbiage from my chat with her:

"I checked the map in our system and your in a good area. I also checked with our engineers for that area. There is a DATA outage going on at this time Ticket # TT000010116954. We cant do anything till this is back up. They are working on the problem, but do now have a up time yet."

I didn't really trust her, so that is why I posted here.

What do you mean about the service books?

I am just north of San Diego, CA and AT&T confirmed with me that there has been an outage here, in San Francisco and Reno, NV. I talked to them on 3/31/09, I haven't had 3G since 3/24, and they said they did have an outage and no idea when it would be fixed. As of right now it hasn't been fixed. It doesn't surprise me that it is in more than just this area.

I'm seeing a issue in the Detroit area with BIS right now also, resent service books and only 1 account came though, pulled battery and resent. Tried to resend again and got a error saying it's unable to resend the service books at this time.

Called AT&T and they don't see any problems.

Actually, I made the transition from the company's BES to BIS today and it seemed to clear up the issue. I guess the ATT tech support person was just blowing smoke. Unbelievable.
