Default Fingertips or fingernails on your keyboard?

Please Login to Remove!

My question may seem a bit weird but I'd like to know how you press the keys on your blackberry. I had the Bold for a while and I could use my fingertips (thumbs) with no problem. Now with the Curve it seems to me that the keyboard is kind of small and I find myself using my fingernails. My hands are not big, just average. Do you use your fingertips or fingernails on your keyboard?

Wirelessly posted (8320 Titanium)

I use my fingertips on my 8320...I have big hands and find it quite easy to do...if my nails get too long, it becomes harder to type, so its time to cut them down again...

Fingertips. I guess the entire fingertip is bigger than a single key but when I press down it only clicks on the key I'm actually typing on (the one at the center of the fingertip). The fingertip may touch adjacent keys but I've never accidentally hit one of them. YMMV especially if you have huge fingers.

Fingertips. I know when its time to clip my fingernails when my typing efficiency decreases.

Guess I'm the oddball because I am always hitting adjacent keys when I use my fingertips. But, then again, I'm not a very good typist anyhow.

When I try to type real fast I end up hitting a wrong key.

Thumbs. And I typo regularly. Think there is a lesson there somewhere?

Most of the time I use my thumbnails. If they are too long it's harder and if I cut them too short I use my thumbs til they grow some.

I use what works, sometimes that's my fingertip, and at other times a fingernail. Of course, I am polite and don't drag my fingernail across the keyboard to make obnoxious noises!
