Just tried to install the trial version on a Vodafone UK based 7100. Although it's refreshing to see a traffic app for the UK for a change (we don't all live in the USA you know) and the best I got was an error:

net.rim.device.api.system.Controlled/AccessException

Pretty sucky!!!!!

Default net.rim.device.api.system.Controlled/AccessException error solution

for customer message:

Reply: It seems that you are using an old build of the application. It would be better if we know the version of the application he is using. Please check by going to Menu > About.

If this is the case, please download the latest 1.3.1 version from Handango.

Thanks

Default won't work for me with Cingular 8700c

I get the missing module error message "error loading module "TrafficEdge - unknown error" no matter how I've downloaded (Handango, over the air from their website, etc.)

Is the a current promotion on TrafficEdge. All of the TrafficEdge promotion codes posted in this and other threads appear to have expired.

I downloaded the Corporate version since I am on a BES. When I open the app it gives me the following error:

"The application TrafficEdge has attempted to open a connection to a location inside the firewall and outside the firewall which is not allowed by your IT policy."

Does that mean I can't use the BES version and should try the BIS/WAP version? Not sure I have that - I have cingular BB unlimited plan.

Is anyone still using this? How is it working? I noticed it went up to $10. I would have bought it at the original price.

Don't bother unless it's for someone else. From what I see it has maps and camera's. I was looking for realtime traffic updates. I found a website, www.traffic.com where you can map you route to work and it will email you with alerts. I used it today with great accuracy. I was stuck in traffic right where it said I would be. Unfortunately, that's where I decided to read the message.

I'm going to give this a try and see how it works.

Thought I would give the trial a go as it said it covered the UK. Well I know the UK is small compared to the USA but London and Hampshire doesnt quite mean UK.

Where's M25, M1, M6 etc or any number of MAJOR roads

Un-installed
