It was free until just a few hours ago. I was watching it earlier before they changed it.

I just want to try or test it out before I buy it to see how good it is. There's no screen shot or anything. Just a link to a site to subscribe. Look like a scam

I don't think it's a scam, but they should at least give a preview before signing up or give you a few days free to try it.
Edit... after thinking about this more, I think it could be defined as a scam since they are charging people for a service that is illegal.

Agree. I wouldn't pay money for an illegal service either, esp. would not give them my credit card info. If someone pays for a year in advance, and then they get shut down (which will happen eventually), the subscribers are SOL.

it goes through PayPal for their charges. It is a legit service, although i was suprised to see how quickly they started charging.
One thing to watch out for though...if you get the annual service like I did, it it will charge the $14.99, and then enter a reoccuring charge for $14.99 on an annual basis in payPal. I didn't like the idea of an automatic reoccuring charge, so i just went to payPal and deleted the scheduled transaction.

It's not a legit service unless they have licensed the steaming content from the networks. What they are doing is illegal. They are charging for a service they have no right to provide unless they have legal contracts and licensing to do so.

They are giving refund to anyone who subscribed. It seems doubtful they will ever be back, despite what their site says.

Well we will see how smart Verizon,Blackberry, and the networks are. If you put these guys out of business and Verizon,Blackberry, and the networks don't utilize the technology to put network television on mobile devices in a funtional manner then they are more stupid than we already think they are.
Verizon's Vcast is about the most useless thing out there, what a wonderful deal it would be to replace that crap with live television. Alas Verizon is probably too stupid to realize the market potential.
Blackberry, well bless their hearts they too are slow, if they were smart they would work with the networds and Verizon and license this thing and the application would explode.
As for the networks, well anyone watching network news can kind of figure out how clueless the networks are. The networks if they were smart would work out the license with someone to put on mobile units as a way to sell an ever increasing market to their advertisers.
But, I really don't expect any of the 3 to be intelligent enough to figure this one out. What a waste of opportunity!

This had nothing to do with Verizon or BlackBerry. It was a mobile website that you could go to on any carrier, AT&T, Verizon, Rogers, Vodafone, T-Mobile, etc. to view illegally broadcasted video feeds from FOX, ABC, NBC, etc.
I don't see why you're placing the blame on anyone that is not involved in any of this. Hang 10 was committing a crime and charging consumers for an illegal product. They're at fault, end of story.

This makes no sense at all. VuiVision was illegally streaming network TV -- they had no rights to do so. All that streamed content is copy protected. They might have gotten away with it longer, but when they started charging for it, they really opened themselves up for lawsuits.
This article says the broadcasters asked them to stop streaming their content on Dec. 4, but they kept on.

There's a thread at CB with a copy of the lawsuit document.

Didn't say it was smart, in fact it was illegal. Having said that though, my point was that if any of the 3 Verizon, Blackberry or the networks were smart they would take this process and work out the kinks and make it available to use. It would be a boon to all for people to be able to get live streaming television on the Storm.
But as I said in my first post, I don't expect any of the 3 to seize upon the viability of this format and make it available to the masses.
