Hello Forum! This is my first post here, and it is no doubt one easily solved. I did several searches but did not come up with an answer that helped. Also searched Google with no luck, but it is late (and it was pizza and beer night...
I've had my 8310 for about a week now. Among the first things I did was download and install Google Maps. Worked like a charm immediately, and continued to do so until tonight. Now, upon start, I get "This application cannot be used until you grant it permission to send and receive data over the network". Funny, I don't recall telling it that it could not!
I went to Options>Advanced Options>Applications>Google Maps (which interestingly is in
bold text (v.2.1.0 btw) and expand all, EVERYTHING=Allow.
Expecting a dope slap, what am I missing? Why did it suddenly stop running? Permissions all seem to be set correctly, and I certainly did not change them. I also tried uninstalling and re-downloading, but same thing.
Thanks in advance for such a great forum. Only a week old newbie and already I am smitten with this device! How did I get by without?
