Did you apply the DST patch? If not, head to blackberry.com and follow the directions. Admitedly it should NOT be jumping around... What about the update setting on the time config? Do you have it set to network or local?

no i dont have the patch.. didnt even know about the patch ive got it set on network

Definitely apply the patch. Do a search on this list for DST or it has been on RIM's front page. Its easy to install. You could also switch off of the network config. That should fix instead of the patch if you want.

Are you connecting it to Desktop Manager? If so, check to see if Desktop Manager is changing the time when you plug it in. Apply the patch, and make sure you are using Desktop Manager 4.2 SP1 from blackberry.com.
