Every time I try to text/sms a picture it fails and i get the red X

This feature has always worked for me in the past. Once day it just decided to stop working. Pulling the battery does nothing. No setting have been change

Any ideas or solutions would be very helpfull.

no I have not , how do I do that. Im a relatively new user

Do you have a Blackberry Data Plan from Verizon? ATT and Verizon scan their network and unless you have a plan specific to Blackberry they will either add one to your plan or block the data use. the normal cell phone data plan will not work with a blackberry.

the red x usually means fail to send or blocked.

Just in case you do have a Blackberry data plan, here is the way to resend the service books. If this does not work you may not have a BB Data plan.

yes I do have a data plan and its suppose to be unlimited. Its been working fine for the last 7 months. This issue just happen last week. I just did a resend of the service books and rebooted. That did not help

ok , are you able to send any test messages at all? Without attachments.

You do know there is a size limit on attachments for text or MMS messages.
Also the carrier may have changed the allowed attachment size. If you can send text messages, try a very small photo and see if it works. If it does I would call the carrier and ask if the limit has changed.

ive had the similar problem i called my carrier and they sent me a new sim card now i am using a bold 9780 but i have the fido service books off my curve 8520 from fido and when i trying sending myself a picture it has a red X next to it but somehow sends to the online web site? i have no idea but this is weird i mean i have the mms transport and mms client but it still hasn't worked and i did a bunch of battery pulls too.
