While I had 0 problems at the beginning with this OS, it now happend, that whatever I type in the "goto" Window of the browser, nothing happens if I press enter.
all bookmars work, history works, opening an URL from mail works.

This appears in the Blackberry and the Internet browser.

From my knowledge, I did not change anything important. The only thing I modified recently was the assignment of the convenience Buttons. Reverting this to the original settings did not help.
A battery pull also does not help.
I tried different URLs, invalid URLs, new URLs - same thing.
The browser behaves like the enter key has been removed (it does work in other applications and on loaded web-pages, however!)

I rather suspect, this must be something in the settings of the device.

Has anyone else the same problem, and eventually a cure for this ?

Is there another way to submit my request to open an URL instead using the enter key ?

Known issue (and the only one I've experienced besides Wallet not working).

Clear your cache. When it reaches a certain size, the browser begins to misbehave.

clearing the browser cache did not help, but clearing the history worked.

What do you mean with "how it is" ?
Maybe:
For me, it is good - I like it more then I hate it.
dislikes: the space-wasting pull-down menus, font rendering worse then 4.5.x
likes: some new features (most of them tied to BES 5.0)

But this version is stable and I have no problems using it (exeption, this bug, but as I wrote above you can workaround it)

There a many people who have problems with third party applications. While this is probably not the fault of the Version 5.0, They cannot use their device until newer versions of Application xyz is availible.
