I have a BB Tour 9630 that is continuously sending/transmitting data, judging by the activity of the pair of arrows on the upper right corner of the screen. It is as if Google Sync is running all the time. It seems to start some time mid day, and continues off and on after that. The phone warms up and my battery drains in a couple of hours unless I turn Data Services off in Options > Mobile Network. The hourglass does not show. A battery pull interrupts it.
The only apps that are running are Browser, BlackBerry Messenger, Messages, Phone, and Home. I have gone into each of those and taken them back to their home screen and then Closed them.
Other applications I have downloaded are
- Blackberry App World
- Google Sync (the transceive arrows appear even when I log out)
- Kindle
- WeatherBug
and a few other things like Flickster Movies that give positive confirmation when I Exit/Close them.
I would pay good money for a real CPU monitor application that shows all running applications. (No, I do not want yet another memory utility.)
Ideas?
