I made a simple theme for my 8900 which I then made into a 9700 theme for my new phone (from scratch - I didn't import it as that caused some other issues). On the 8900 the gmail icon was updated to the same as the default inbox. But now on the 9700 its acting weird. If I reboot the phone it shows up as the altered icon for a couple seconds, then it deletes that inbox and replaces it with another copy of the gmail inbox with the default themes icon. I can actually see 2 gmail inboxes for a secong and then the good one disappears.

Anyone know why this would be happening?
