Wirelessly posted (White and Nerdy)

Who is your carrier? You'll need the "blackberry feature enabler" to do this. In the US, tmo is the only carrier to my knowledge that does not require the data plan and will grant you the feature enabler

Im in the UK and my service provider is Orange .
What is the blackberry feature enabler ?
When i phoned up Orange they said i needed to subscribe to a data plan of £4.50 a month to send MMS .
Now i know this is untrue as i did this back in April 09 and in the july phone to complain as i dont use the internet I was told by Orange it was a lie just to get me subsribed to it.They cancelled the £4.50 bundle and refiunded me all the money.
Recently my phone has been reset and now i cant send MMS.

Just for clarification, when you say "I keep getting no MMS record" do you mean that you are you missing the menu option for compose mms, or is that an error message that you are getting at some point in the mms sending process?

Just call your carrier. They will fix the problem by unblocking the picture message feature which they had accidentally done on my plan.

Here in the US, most cell phone carriers (all except tmo) require either a BIS or a BES in order to access the web. Of course without web, you simply CAN NOT send mms. Some carriers can enable the feature by allowing you ppu access to the web, however that can rack up quite a large bill so most carriers don't.

I'd call your service provider and ask if it can be added to your account at no charge, if they say no, well there's not really a way around it.

Like was said, only Tmobile in the US can send without a data plan. I don't know if Orange is set up this way but if not then the blackberry data plan is required to MMS.
