hello guys my trackball is responding but whenever i "push" it, it won't do that "click" sound it also doesn't feel like a click. It's like a defective key on PC .. it juzt doesn't pop up after pushing it. what exactly should i look for to fix it?
what do i have to replace? will it fixed when i replace the new trackball ? appreciate any help !

Try holding the trackball down and at the same time rolling it around. You may have to do it a little while, more than a few seconds, and give it at least a minute or two rolling around.

Replacing a trackball is fairly easy. You have to be careful, but it isn't difficult. It's a complete assembly, pops out, and pop in the new one. Look for some demos on youtube.

This sounds more like a problem with the button on the PCB more than a trackball problem. It is always worth checking the trackball although; sometimes the piece of metal below the 'ball' that pushes it back up can become fatigued and not work so effectively.

hi guys. i have a question . the trackball from the bb 8320 works on bb 9000 bold ? my trackball its killing me and i don`t know what to do more. I try to go down, doesn`t want to.

any suggestions ?

Trackballs for Curve 83xx, 88xx and Bold 9000 are the sames : but just the trackball, no the part around (round of plastic).
And, also, for the first problem, i meet it many times : you have to change the little part below the trackball - the dome who "clic". This part is directly on the mother board...

@adixis : the best trackball i've use are from HK. for the Bold i sell, i put a new complet all black cover with new black trackball. This ones are.. how to write.. "rugeuses" (in french). The sensations under yours fingers are incredibles and the look is really fine !
(i don't tell you that for sell you anything, i haven't trackball to seeln it's just to tell you about my "préférence").
