Default I am back!

I arrived at the store at 7.30 AM and the next customer arrived at 7.50 AM. Doors opened at 8.00 AM and a third customer arrived at 8.10 AM. We were all served immedately. very painless and one guy was out in15 minutes. Mine took longer because I needed to change my plans.

Anyway I am up and running and so far Tour is AWESOME! Great screen, easy to use, no issues. Had about 2 bars of charge so am home now and doing a full charge. Had all my contacts transfered too. Whole product is far easier to read and use than the 8830.

More to follow....

lostman, I do have a Verizon phone in the household that is due for an upgrade. Since we've all got the Storm, I was going to cancel that 'extra' line. Is there confirmation that I can use the 'extra' line to upgrade to a Tour and cancel it within thirty days and just pay $175.00 ETF?

I have just one very minor issue. On my 8830 in the top right hand corner there is a little light that flashes in green when the system is up and running and changes to red when an email comes in. On the Tour, yes it does flash red when an email comes in, but does not flash green at all. Anyone help?

The default for network coverage is probably to the off position. Which is the way I like it.

No on confirmation. I don't know if anyone has done it? It should work? I think you have to wait after your first bill. Than the phone is yours and you cancel service they will slap the 175 on you. Again I guess this will work unless they have something in the small print I don't know about? The reason I say after 30 days is because they won't want the phone back. Before the 30days they may ask for it back?

Options --> Screen / Keyboard --> LED Coverage Indicator
If you want the green blink when in coverage, set the above setting to "On"

How are you handling the profiles? Shortcut key is gone. I setup a custom profile because it didnt seem that the other options had their own customization.

I should have stopped in a Verizon store at the mall and played with one this morning. Didn't even think about it until now.
