Wirelessly posted (Its All About the U!)

I thought they said it would arrive on that Monday, which would be the 13th. I intend to hit the store on the 12th

I don't think it will be like the storm, the storm was exclusive to Verizon only and "The First Touch Screen Blackberry" ... I think the Tour will be like any other launch on Verizon.

To be honest, I haven't seen a single advertisement for the Tour. They hyped the shit out of the Storm prior to release (at least in my area, Metro NYC).

I don't expect to see the same turnout on release for this phone.

Yeah, maybe you are all correct. I would have thought if anybody wanted a new BB they would have been following along and the hype is that this is the best BB ever made. That should be enough for VZ to sell truckloads of them.

They probably will sell truckloads of them - to Enterprise customers and then to consumers. I don't expect them to move 500K in the first week though, like a new iPhone (or even the Storm).

Correct. B2B get first dibs, then retail. Certain enterprise customers have already received them.

I read somewhere that it would SHIP on the 13th, meaning 14th or 15th arrival depending on location.
