I just recently received a new Blackberry Storm 2 9550 from my company for corporate use. I have captured some video using the camera to the 16 GB media card that came with the phone (15 seconds approx. 1MB in size). The playback from the media card is so slow that it is unusable. The sound and video skip, and the lag is ridiculous. I can move it to the Device memory and the video plays just fine without any lag.

I have removed the video, formatted the card and then moved the video back and this did not help the problem.

I am sure that I am just missing a setting or something that needs to be done in order to optimize playback.

Any comments or suggestions would be most appreciated.

That its very strange. I suppose its either software version related or the card itself.
I have been using mine for 2 month now and I've been watching movies straight from media card. And I also recorded video with no problems whatsoever.
