I just purchased an unlocked blackberry storm off of ebay in December. When I tried charging it i got the red LED light on half the time and the other half a little battery with a lightning bolt going through it. After letting it sit charging over night, the phone would not turn on. I went back to the guy on ebay to ask for help and also looked on here, and thought it would be smart to buy a new battery. I bought a new battery and let it charge over night and the device will still not turn on. Is there any way to salvage this or did I just get sold a f**d device on ebay?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What do you see on the screen with the new battery?

At first it just charged with the red light on and after about 15 min i tried turning it on and the screen and buttons lit up with a small ticking clock in the middle of the screen and then went off again soo i replugged it. I later saw the battery with the lightning bolt through it on the screen. Now its off the charger I try to turn it on and get nothing.

Ok I downloaded the desktop manger and plugged my blackberry into my laptop.the computer recognizes the device and it is lite up but has the battery with the lightning bolt through it. What should i do?

It's on it's on!! It turned on and it says low battery and there is a green LED light flashing now. Maybe my wall charger wasn't charging it correctly?

Keep it charging. Charge it for at least 4 hours, remove the battery and reinsert it.
