On a recent call long distance, the other person said they could hardly hear me. even though the reception was good. I was indoors at the time. I kept cutting out to them I was told.

Is it just that outbound volume might be too low? How do you adjust this if so? Could it be the other person's carrier? Also in the other post the OS was mentioned. How do you check that too if it could just be an issue of needing to update it? Thank you.

ive been having this issue for a while now. VZW has no idea what it is.

seems that when i have the bluetooth on (when bluetooth headset is off) this happens most. when i shut bluetooth off on the storm2, it doesnt happen. could be coincidence but so far my theory works. i caught my phone searching one time for the BT earpiece when the earpiece was clearly OFF.

this may be a radio issue. What OS build are you running?

A friend of mine was running 5.0.0.323. I upgraded her to .419 and the problem was fixed.

I will also tell you this. If you have never wiped your phone between upgrades this is probably a source of your problem. Wipe the phone and reset all the major setting manually. Only restore your phone list and BB messenger list with the DM. Reload all your third party apps one by one OTA. This also might fix your problem even reloaded the same current OS.
