When I go to settings---> advanced----> applications
Why is it that some application names are shown in BOLD?

i dont get them either. what applications do you have in bold? maybe this has something to do with the application permission settings (as they will show up bold when you change from the default)

I don't remember if I edited them or not. I have always had some applications in bold. It's not currently running applications either. It has always bothered me, why would they be BOLD??!?!?

I have like 25 third party apps, and none of them are bold in Applications.

I'm going nuts, Smartview and Softrest are not in bold just Beyond 411... I don't know why.

Select the application and select edit permissions, Under connections, the option is showing Custom, in bolded letters. I changed that to default, and that cleared the bolded application for me.

so it was something having to do with permissions. did you modify those permissions any, besides setting "allow" when it starts up? usually there is an allow this instance or an allow all, did you select both when prompted?

I have notify link on my device to receive email from another domain and keep them in separate inboxes. This was the only application that was bolded on my device. I did not mess with the permission until just now.
