Default Screen Scratches :(

Please Login to Remove!

While at the beach today, my sister put my curve in her jeans pocket.. and now there is a scratch on the screen. :(

It's not that bad.. but ehhh bugs me. Doesn't seem too deep.. is there anything I can do to fix it... without replacing the screen?

Would buying a screen protector cover it up?

Well, although the scratch will probably be visible no matter what you do, you should get a holster to keep it in. There is a lot of debate on here whether those are needed or not, and I am an advocate for them. I wouldnt do anything crazy like replacing the screen, because in 2 weeks, your pain will start to subside.

Remember - an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure. Get that case/holster!

I would like to use a holster, but they aren't for me. Not my style :(

I think i'll pick some protectors up and take better care of it now..

I'm wondering if something like Applesauce would help. I just bought a screen protector for my Curve as well.

I have a static cling type screen protector. Came with my Bodyguardz full body clear protector. It sticks really well, and unless you lift a corner, you couldn't tell its not adhesive. I pocket carry when my clothes are too casual for a belt, and the screen protector stays on.

I noticed that after time, the screen got clearer and it seems to be oil from my skin worked its way under there. I think if I had scratches, they'd be pretty invisible under the protector.

I would try one of the screen protectors that use adhesive. It make sense that the adhesive would reduce the scratch visibility.

All current BB models should get a screen protector put on them right away if scratches bother you.
