I don't allow car dealers to put on their license plate frames when they service my car. I'm not real big on beer t-shirts. And so on.

I appreciate Seidio's desire to market their excellent products, but I'm not up for supporting this goal by displaying my logo wherever I go. I'd pay, say, 15% or 20% more for this product without the big white logo, and instead of getting a marketing benefit from "free" advertising, you could spend those dollars on other marketing avenues.

Anybody else feel this way? Seidio, what would it take for you to offer an all-black door?

(Or is there a trick for removing the lettering? )

I dont see the difference between the Seidio logo, and the 2 Blackberry, and 2 T-moblie logos (one is the fave 5 logo) that are currently on your phone.

lol... you dont see the difference ? The "Blackberry" writing is understated and small. The faves logo is not writing at all, it's just a small symbol. That "Siedo" is written in large white lettering on a black background which jumps out at you. I to would ABSOULUTELY purchase this backing if they could tone that down a bit. Maybe the way Siedo is written on the back of the rubberized belt clip(which I own now)....

The logo doesn't bother me (nor did it bother me when I had their door on my Palm)
but I'm not quite clear on how it benefits hearing calls or whatever....

Is there a blackberryforums discount? of lets say 5 bucks? that would put in the range of me purchasing one...

branding is annoying but with all their rubberized gear, a quick sanding with some sand paper gets it right off right away.

btw.. does the mirror part stick out of the actual door?

Hmm... A New Titanium (Grey) faceplate and Seidio's black ruberized battery door= One sexy sharp looking phone I'm thinking! Might make me forget I own the one without WiFi and GPS! LOL!

Looks like a great solution for my ultra-slippery BB Curve. I'm also not a fan of the large white logo, but I might buy the product anyway out of sheer necessity.

Tired of muffled conversations, or just need a new battery door? Either way, the OEM sized rubberized battery door with speaker opening for 8300/8310/8320 is the solution for you! This replacement door has a speaker opening so that users are able to hear ringtones and phone conversations better. It is made from Seidio’s signature rubberized material that provides a firm grip and matches the side grips of the device. This replacement door also includes the necessary cutouts for the camera and has a mirror.

*Note: This door is compatible only with OEM sized batteries.
