Don't mean to belabor this, but I was thinking about this over lunch. I take every opportunity I can to avoid giving people free advertising. My vehicle's brand badges are removed. I don't allow car dealers to put on their license plate frames when they service my car. I'm not real big on beer t-shirts. And so on.
I appreciate Seidio's desire to market their excellent products, but I'm not up for supporting this goal by displaying my logo wherever I go. I'd pay, say, 15% or 20% more for this product without the big white logo, and instead of getting a marketing benefit from "free" advertising, you could spend those dollars on other marketing avenues.
Anybody else feel this way? Seidio, what would it take for you to offer an all-black door?
(Or is there a trick for removing the lettering?
